Dr. Stephan earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1991 where he graduated with high honors, magna cum laude. Prior to attending Palmer he completed his pre-chiropractic studies at Millersville University. While at Millersville he met and married his wife Lizanne.
Following graduation from Palmer Dr. Stephan moved back to his hometown of Gettysburg and joined the practice of Gettysburg Rehabilitation Services. In 2001 He joined Dr. Sheahan at Gettysburg Chiropractic. Along with practicing Chiropractic Dr. Stephan has been serving as a professor of Anatomy and Physiology at Harrisburg Area Community College since 1992.
Dr. Stephan lives in Gettysburg with his wife and two daughters. One of his daughters attends college and the other is still in high school, both of which are accomplished track and field athletes. His wife Lizanne also competes in USATF Masters Track and Field and coaches at Gettysburg High School. In his spare time Dr. Stephan enjoys running and weight training as well as volunteering as a track coach at Gettysburg.
